¶ Use Paint By Example to combine aspects of two images. Here’s how I created this elephant on a surfboard:
¶ Step 1 - Choose a starting image.
I found a good surfing photo on Unsplash and cropped it to square.
** Note: The text prompt is not relevant when using Paint By Example. Any text you enter will be ignored. **
¶ Step 2: Select part of the image to change.
Draw a mask over the image to show the AI where the subject in the next step should go. The areas outside the mask will remain unchanged. Be sure to mask off enough space for your subject.
Tap the check when done.
¶ Step 3: Choose an example image to guide the AI.
I found a nice elephant on Unsplash. It helps to use an image where the subject is easy to identify.
Tap the Create button when done. You can see the elephant in the final image isn’t exactly like the example image. Its position has been changed to fit the situation.
If you don’t like your first result, try again with a different seed.
