See how 93 Danbooru hand gesture tags change the same anime girl, from v and thumbs up to heart hands and salute. Every picture is made with the same prompt, seed and settings on Nova Anime v18. Only one tag changes.
The first picture has no tag, for comparison; the tags follow from A to Z. Copy a tag to use it in your own prompt, or choose Try to open MonAI with that picture's full prompt and settings. Select a picture to see it full size.

¶ How the pictures were made
Each prompt puts one tag into the same base prompt:
1girl, [tag], short hair, dark hair, light blue shirt, upper body, straight on, white background
The upper-body framing keeps both hands in the picture, and the light blue shirt makes them stand out. It ends with the Nova Anime v18 quality tags:
masterpiece, best quality, amazing quality, very aesthetic, absurdres
Every picture uses the same negative prompt:
photorealistic, realistic, 3d, glitch, deformed, ugly, disfigured, lowres, bad anatomy, bad hands, fewer digits, extra digit, missing fingers, displeasing, (bad quality, worst quality:1.2), signature, watermark, bad AI generated
- Model: Nova Anime v18
- Size: 768 × 960
- Steps: 20
- Guidance scale (CFG): 4.5
- Sampler: Euler a
- Seed: 31415
Each tag was rendered once. Some tags are taken literally rather than as a gesture: horns pose adds horns, hat tip adds a hat, power fist draws an armored gauntlet and fox shadow puppet adds fox ears. Some add a small print to the shirt. With another prompt, seed or model, a tag can look different.
¶ Where the tags come from
The tag names come from Danbooru's gestures tag group. This page shows the one-person gestures that fit an upper-body picture. Gestures for two or more people and full-body poses are not included yet. Tags that Nova Anime v18 didn't draw as a gesture in our tests are left off: air quotes, akanbe, inward v, kitsune no mado, kuji-in, ohikaenasutte, tsuki ni kawatte oshioki yo, number four (ASL) and double number four (ASL).
A few tags contain parentheses. Their copy text puts a backslash before each one, as in no \(gesture\); keep the backslashes, or the parentheses are read as weighting. Tags with slashes, such as \m/, are copied as Danbooru writes them.
